Brings back special memories for me - we had our wedding reception at Wigan Cricket Club on a sunny July day. There were no cricket matches there that day though, just children running about and playing in their posh wedding outfits:-)

Where is the Cricket club ? is it on the one that used to be the Grammer Shool Cricket Green , by the Market Square , or has that dissapeared by THE COUNCIL
no - it's on the opposite side of the road, across from what was the grammar school, if you want a peek go down the opening at side of 'linacre' or going further out of town, down, i think park crescent or park crescent west, it's only a couple of hundred yards.

This is a great photo of the pitch and stature of the college. Im making a dvd of the history of Wigan Cricket Club and would like to use this photo if possible and any other you may have of the club, cheers.
