Standishgate, as seen from Crompton Street junction.
A wonderful example of what Wigan Council Planning approve of for a new development. The original shops including the magnificent old Electric Showroom building and the church demolished to make way for this monstrosity. Brian House across the road is another typical example of bad architecture, completely out of keeping with its surroundings.
Makes me furious.
