This is just a guess, but I think that this is a photograph of the Shepherds Arms 'Picnic Club' Lower Ince. I think that it was taken in the early seventies. Does anyone recognise any of the people in the shot? they would all have been local to that area.

im sure the man 3rd from the right was called 'Matty' but i could be wrong

Yes chap in the front row with the thick specticles on was called Matty. I know the others by site. He used to booze in Whelley Ex service mens club.
