This appears to be a photo my dad took of his mates. Not sure of the date and no idea who any of the soldiers are.

JR - it looks like the photo has accidentally been scanned/reproduced back to front.
All those who have medal ribbons look to have them on the right breast of their tunics. when it should be the left, and the pipe smoking chap's tunic buttons the 'wrong way' - ie with the buttons on the left rather than the right.

The girl's uniform looks very much like the NAAFI uniform of that time, with the distinctive diamond shaped badge on the cap,
