A FRIEND HAS JUST SENT ME THIS IMAGE OF A COPPER/ BRASS IDENTIFICATION PLATE WITH THE LETTERS 'C.W.W. WIGAN 82' IT LOOKS PRETTY CRUDELY CAST I'M GUESSING IT'S 1800'S MY GUESS IS "WIGAN CORPORATION WATER WORKS" ????? ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT IT'S OFF?

Possibly a works pay tally, the number would be the employee's reference on the pay roll.
