As no one else appears to be stepping forward William, and as I didn't record the exact dates on my photographs, I will hazard an educated guess and say the operation commenced in the summer of 86 and by the spring of 89 the coal had been extracted and the land back filled and planted with trees. I may be out by a bit. Just stand well back now and wait for the avalanche of posts informing me by how much.
