The name Len Brogan reminds me of an old lady who used to come into our shop in he 70s. when she had been feeling unwell she would say "he's bin shakin t'spade at me agin. ah thowt ah wus goin ave fot'send fer Len Brogin"

I was related a story by a person that had attended a cremation funeral,a few years previously. As the mourners were leaving, the music being played was a favourite of the deceased. "Stardust". No one cancelled the tape, at the end of "Stardust," and the next tune was, "Don't get around much anymore."

J. McGuire shown as Pemberton branch manager is Joe McGuire who now has the funeral parlour on Gidlow Lane.

Wo Mick, Joe McGuire has passed away, maybe his offspring are in business in Gidlow Lane.

I notice they employed a state registered nurse...
