Just to add, it was taken at the rear of millers,the wall you can see is the warehouse at the saddle at the time it was a pub....

Roy, the pub was called The Bird I'th Hand.
It was one of the tallist bar in valut in lancashire.also my dads cosin was the landlady.Do not know which year.

The vault bar was tall Barry, you felt like a little child in the sweet shop all over again.LOL. You could lean against it but definitely not lean on it, unless you were a ten foot giant.
Does anyone remember when Millers was in Scholes on the left above the robots and Fosters was at the bottom under the viaduct to Central Station?
