My Aunt Anne Mawdsley Marrying my Uncle Jim Beckett, Behind the couple is my Grandad William Mawdsley, On the left of Jim Beckett is Grandads brother Joe, I am not sure who the other lady is

hi gerry,how lovely to see this pic ime not sure if i have it? the other lady is margaret mawdsley, joes wife ea used to call them aunty and uncle but they were my mams and your dads aunt and uncle,they must have stood for mam and dad thanks gerry

yes gerry there was only them at the wedding wether it was just a small do and grandma was doing a bit of tea i really dont know and i could kick myself for not thinking of asking mam when she was younger and in better health i mean where were all her sister and brothers even my dad he had three sisters and a half brother why didnt we ask questions cause we were never told nowt wonder will uncle frank be able to tell us owt as i am going to ask him and doreen if they will let me take some pics of their wedding album.

i think i may be confusing it with grandad was 53 when he died not he died in 53 think i got it wrong but still mam said i was about 3 maybe she just got mixed up.

my Grandma and Grandad....I love this picture ...I have the one where they are just the two of them...Grandma is stunning and that outfit is beautiful ....very classy

There was a Margaret Mawdsley (we used to call her Aunty Margaret)used to babysit me and my sister in Belle Green Lane. We used to visit her somewhere down Ince Green Lane. I wonder if it's the same Margaret on this photo

hi steven, this margaret mawdsley lived at the top of bell green lane across from prince of wales pub,the house is still there, i think th margaret that you mention is a relation ,the margaret and joe mawdsley on the pic would be her aunt and uncle,joe was her dads brother and so was my grandad stood behinde,and she does live somewhere in or off ince green lane.
