Gilding and graining . Two things that have gone right out of fashion .
I was taught these things back in the 70's along with marbling and sign writing . Very satisfying jobs but gone with the Dodo it seems .

TEG pickles, which we all called "Teg's", was based in Higher Ince. It was a popular brand of pickles and employed many local people. I remember it well, although I can't recall them making "pop". The only Ince "pop" manufacturer I recall was Barton's and I have one of Barton's original glass pop bottles with their name embossed on the side.
