Sammy Crabtree the Shevy vicar he lived with his sister Constance and there dog Jack.
He used to catch us pinching apples and pears from the vicarage orchard, he would march us into the house and tell us off then let us go. I remember asking Constance once when she was leading us out of the house, why does it say WC on that door, and she told me it was a water closet

Loved Rev Crabtree and his sister. The only one who came up to his standard was George Dewhurst!!

I enjoyed many a pint with Rev Dewhurst in what Mick calls the Shevvy Blue club.
