Winstanley twins - Brian & Ken.
I thought they played for Ince Central in those years?
If the two lads are around - what about the time (in the mid 50's - they tied string through their bedroom windows -between their house and George Burns (their cousin).
We were going to Old Trafford to watch Lancs Cricket, and George was afraid he may not get up in time, the string as I recall was tied to his foot.
I grew up with the twins and our back gardens adjoined.
Saturday nights we spent playing billiards - they had a table - and we played in the kitchen.
Good old days
Remember both teams very well; went to school with most, or St. Marys youth club. Was one of the spectators - never played it was too energetic for me, as John Mosley will remember I was more into fishing. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.
