Peter’s Sister and SIL of Nana Jacqui. Grand folk.
Broady, years ago when I used to go on the message-board section of Wigan World, I seem to remember a regular commenter called Nana Jaqui.
I still have a few books for regular attendance to St. Peter’s Sunday school from the 50’s with a certificate inside. They are prayer book, the Observers book of birds eggs and King Arthur and the Knights of the round table.
Hi Irene,
As far as I know Jacqui is still a member on there.
I used to love going to that little chapel went to services and sunday school and did walking days, lovely people.
I hope she is, Broady, and that she is well. I don't go on messageboards these days. I once went to a scouts' show at the tin chapel in Abram as I had made some masks for them and my daughter and I were given free tickets. I attended Rose Bridge Methodists as a child in Ince and agree with Sandra that they are lovely people. I remember being late for Sunday School once and telling them that my Mam was ill and they sent out for some flowers for her.
