this was taken at Butlins in about 1956 my mums pegging washing out even there. it looks awful. thankfully cant remember it. but she said it was a lovely holiday!

Billy Butlin started the holiday camps by buying up the ex-army camps and converting the Nissen huts into seperate rooms, a man with a vision and business sense. Hi de Hi.
