This photo was sent to my Dad in India from a friend who he obviously worked with. I'd guess it was taken in about 1931/2 as my parents left Wigan for India in Sept 1930. On the reverse it states
' Dear Bill, I am sending you this photo of your old friends which I know you will prize very much,we had it taken on our annual trip to Fleetwood & Blackpool, your Old Pal Norman'
It looks a warm day, house/pub windows open & they went in a canvas topped chara by the looks of it. My Dad was always in cotton weaving but I'm not sure what mill he worked at before he went to India...can anyone shed any light on it or recognise a father, grandfather etc ?
