In the photo is my Uncle Wilf Alker, sat up in the picture with pipe in his hand.Not sure of the place of work but I think it was in the Holland moor area. In his younger days he was very lucky to still be alive. A run away coal truck pinned him to the coal face, breaking many bones in his body. One very pleasant person who is sadly missed.Photo probably 1950's
