I was prompted to send this after seeing the old photo' a few days back of the old fire-place,this is a replica of a 1930's kitchen, on display in Hindley Library Museum. Most of the work done by Jim Batley and bits and pieces donated to Hindley History Society.

Wigan Council Have now closed down this historic building were the museum was held ,i hope they rot in hell ,they have let Hindley down big time .They spent thousands re-vamping the history shop in Wigan and do you know what its not in the same league as the hindley museum .A MODERN DAY DISGRACE.
