Taken around 1952/53 and on their way to enrol for the army. My late father John Prescott on the left the lad on the right I have been told could be John Winstanley but not 100% can anyone confrm this.

It is John Winstanley from Abram used to be the goal keeper for Moss Lane and Bamfurlong United who played on the Rec, your dad also played at Bamfurlong

Mark, thanks for the confirmation. My dad did play for Bamfurlong and also had a spell at Moss Lane.
