Front row(seated), third from left, is my father, Norman Douglas. Sadly, he died in 2011 aged 100.

James Winstanley Tatlock (Jimmy Tatlock) 5th from right front row.Sadly died in his 60th year 1976.He was my dad.Stoker at Heinz in Standish.Lived in Glebe Road.

The notice behind the central figure on the back row says WELCOME HOME - so I'd guess it was at the end of WW2.
