Does anyone remember the terraced houses that can be seen in the distance? They were located on Chapel Lane on what is now the large junction where Bithells is. I seem to remember there was a cluster of terraced houses there with a little cul-de-sac street backing on to the canal (cannot remember it's name). Most of the houses were unoccupied anyway by the time the bull dozers moved in to widen that stretch of Chapel Lane & Poolstock which must have been the late 1990s.
