Block Plan of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway widening and new station at Hindley dated 1886. I obtained this plan at an auction in Hampshire in the early 1990's. The details are well seen with zoom. I have others, too numerous to post here of Hindley, Ince, & Wigan Wallgate (station buildings and track plans) + plans of the identical station buildings at Appley Bridge, Gathurst + Burscough Bridge, If anyone is genuinely interested in viewing the others contact me.

this is really interesting stuff,and it would be good to see the others you mention on wiganworld.what an archive for people interested in wigan/history/railways.

I would be fascinated to see any plans you have of Burscough Bridge and Wigan Wallgate if at all possible? I'd love to find plans/photos of Burscough Junction also if anyone has any??
