The man is Bill Worsley and the stall is Gibson and Young. Bill was at Wigan Grammar School when I was and he was a very good swimmer

Gibson & Young used to have a warehouse, through the entry to the bus station, next door to Greens/Kings slaughter house. That lad has supplied me many times ;o)

I was the saturday girl on Bills stall for 3 years when it was in the old market hall. What a great memory !!
That's my Dad! Still miss him every day. My mum, Olive is still alive and worked at the stall until 2012, she was 85. Gibson and Young specialised in 'glass and fancy goods'.
