Some of your photos brought back a lot of memories, this photo was taken behind 1 kintbury st where I was brought up.
The spot you are on is where we had some brilliant bonfires, remember those jumping jacks, even noisier when put in an old tin dustbin. I could just taste one of Bishop's wednesday pies, though as my Dad used to say it was a day's march from one piece of meat to the next. Did your Dad do chiropody? I seem to remember going to him when I had veruccas. Keep the old photos coming, I have a few myself others will recognise themselves on, especially one taken at the coronation of the Queen in 1953.

Hi yes my dad was a chiropodist we lived on bolton road faceing this photo. He still lives in Abram with my mother.
My dad used to say the meat in the pies were put in with a pea shooter.
