Seeing this reminds me of another Pharmacy when i was growing up, it was known as 'Johnny come tomorrow', cos you always had to go back tomorrow for the rest of your goods or for the actual goods themselves!!! That was also in Scholes/Ince.
i remember Jack come tomorrows chemist it was on the corner opp the Crispin pub in Hardibutts/Ince my grandad used to send me there for his {smelling bottle}and powerfull it was too it sure cleared your headache Iremember him as a slim grey haired man never one to be hurried {those were the days}
I have to excuse other 2 comments but it was Jack 2morrows, but I remember Boltons chemist also, It had these great massive glass cabinets inside filled with nail varnish etc etc.
Loved calling there with my Mum cause she used to treat me to the sasparilla. Yummy.

We used to call Boltons "The little mans pub" Famous for its non alcoholic Hop Bitter.
