I remember The Fish Market well.....its entrance was off The Market Square, from the BACK end of The Market Hall, and there were some damp steps leading to a revolving door that took you into the Market Hall itself. There were also fish-shops on the FRONT end of the Market Hall, "Shacklady's" being one of them, and I'm sure everyone recalls the Fruit Market, which was also separate from The Market Hall proper, round the corner, opposite the back entrance of The British Home Stores. That had its own entrance too, or you could access it via The Market Hall, through doors situated under the big Bull's Head that was mounted on the wall by the butcher's stalls and the tea-stall.
