This photograph is already on the site under Scholes (which it isn't) So I thought I would put it under the proper location It is a photograph of General Booth when he visited Wigan in the early 1900's He is in one of the cars.

I remember seeing this photo before. It’s too posh for Scholes anyway. It looks more like Market St with what is ‘Moon under Water’ in the background. I keyed in the number Ron but nothing came up for me.

There is someone in the end white car wearing a captains cap, and who looks to be saluting, apparently he was on a Salvation Army Crusade and preaching at different towns.
