I had a girlfriend who lived on this road and we often met at the park gates, lovely memories. Also spent time fishing in the lake in the park.I had quite a few relatives in Ince and have always liked Ince.
My Auntie and Uncle lived in Windermere Road right at the bottom end, across from Ince Park. We used to cut through a little alleyway called Factory Fold to get to my Auntie's house....it was, looking back, quite picturesque, with some neat little houses that used to fascinate me as a child.

Visited here as had relatives who lived on Thirlmere Avenue, just off Windermere Road,at the bottom left. Can remember walking through Factory Fold to reach there, the cottages were very quaint and there were lots of foxgloves growing opposite them.
How times have changed not a car in sight, what would you give to see it like that now. not cluttered up with cars.
My dad lived on Windermere Road ,Brian Winstanley .He lived with the Brown family
