Spent most of my childhood playing in this park,it was lovely.What a mess now,are the council deliberately letting it get so overgrown so that will be able to build on it eventually?

It's so nice and immaculate back then, shame it's not in colour to appreciate the flower beds. Looked after by Ince Council.

Agreed colour would certainly have bought the photo to life with all those bedding plants and flowers. What a beautiful park.
