I think I should explain that the girl who is sitting in the middle is not wearing an eye patch, even though it appears as such- it’s one of the glitches that comes with the enhancing, colourising algorithm.
Even so it is still excellent Keith, and if you hadn't said I would have thought it to be part of their costumes, I'd imagine they had some fun that day wearing those costumes too.
Apart from the ‘ wonky eyes’ they look very pretty and natural. Much nicer than some of the girls today with trout lips and false eyelashes and bushy eyebrows.
Made me laugh that about 'trout lips' Veronica, it put in mind Lynn Perry who played Ivy Tilsley later Brennan on Coronation Street, and the time she had a 'Trout Pout' done in the early 1990s, the producers didn't like it and neither did the viewers, and her character was soon written out.
Her lips looked horrendously big then, but whether it was the camera angle when this photo was taken, or we've got used to the 'trout pout' - as they don't look horrendous at all.

Yes she sank without a trace after she was sacked Cyril with her trout pout. At least I remember her I can’t say who’s who these days.
Ps the woman on the second left front row looks like me a bit! She might be an ancestor of mine. I do have some ancestors at Upholland!
Yes, plenty folks have said they've been flummoxed with the influx of new characters on Coronation Street recently and some exits, it must be a nightmare at times co-ordinating all the scenes so as they are in order of programmes, also I'm sure plenty folks will be glad to see that Roy (David Neilson) has shaved those weirdly beardy bristles from off his chin for his date with Cathy (Melanie Hill) at Scarborough. https://i2-prod.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/incoming/article29607852.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200e/1_JSR_MEN_250724_RoyCathy.jpg
Upholland reminds me of the villages around the coast at Scarborough and Whitby, must be all those narrow ginnels and steep steps.
You never know Veronica, as you know plenty of folks have been very surprised at who they're related to and where originated from when they've delved into their family tree. A cousin of mine was doing her family and after local census and church registers she ended up in Ireland looking at registers.
