Wigan Album

This must be the Presbyterian Church my parents married in. They were married by Special Licence the day before travelling to Tilbury to board a ship sailing to India where my father had got a job in the cotton industry. There were no photos of their wedding so its nice to see the inside of the church. Thanks Daniel.

I went in many times but cannot recall any of the interior.
We had a neighbour who was the caretake in the church and once took us downstairs. There was a large solid wood cabinet with a incredible collection of butterfly's in a series of of very narrow drawers.
I often wondered what ever happened to this collection
