Save you a journey Ron - it was demolished a few years ago.
Thanks Les, What a shame an historic building like this... Do you know where abouts it was?
Where the car park is next to Dominoes.
Location was as Ken says, above.
The 'Vic Hall' used to be a popular venue for wedding receptions, in the '50s and '60s
I'VE BEEN SEARCHING THE WEB SITE TO SEE IF THERE WAS A PHOTOGRAPH OF WALLGATE OR POTTERY ROAD SHOWING THE BUILDING BUT CAN'T FINE ONE..???
LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER TRIP TO THE ARCHIVES
FOUND ONE...... IT ISN'T A FULL ON VIEW BUT I'LL KEEP LOOKING

I'm sure it was this building which was a bit further down from Egerton House, (Middleton & Wood) and for a time was used as a factory shop selling Dorma bedding and towels before becoming derelict.
