Shame that these lovely buildings are no longer with us.
The Carmelite convent in Eccleston St Helens has also gone. The nuns from Upholland and Eccleston have moved to a brand new state of the art convent in Liverpool.

So sad it's gone. Such a lovely building.
The Convent was actually in Stoney Brow,Roby Mill. I lived just lower down and the place was always a mystery to us children in the 1940's
