Wigan Album

This was still standing in the 1980s. It was Elizabethan, I think, and was fascinating. I used to walk our dog round there and the paths, doors and windows were still beautiful. I think it was set on fire a couple of times and became unsafe and had to be demolished.

I remember this,it looked lovely.A lad called Richard Baxendale lived nearby(,or even here), who worked at the same place as me in the 1970's.
