Also showing the Blundell Monument in Alexandra (Robin) Park, and it ties in with the photos David has been posting lately about Pemberton Collieries and the Blundell's. Though it is now in a very vandalised state, a great pity really as he most likely, and at a time too when there was little work to be had, found work for many of the distant relatives of those who had vandalised it.
