My wife was born and bred in Hindley Green and she cannot place where abouts the school is /was in the photo would be obliged if anyone knows more details ,thank you .

It's St. John's Primary school on Atherton Road....it's still there.

PS Alan, if you google "St. John's School Hindley Green", a little picture comes up on the right of the screen saying "see outside". Click on that and it will enlarge it.
