NO IDEA OF THE DATE I BET THOSE BIKES WOULD BE WORTH A FEW BOB THESE DAYS..

My Dad, William Bradshaw, as a young man, belonged to a cycling club in Wigan , must have been in the 1920s. He won a medal for some sort of cycling race. A pic of him at the finish maybe on album/ people...but I'm not sure if I posted it.

The figure of James Higson the lodge keeper who lived at Plantation Gates can be seen standing 4th from right at the rear of the group (white beard and bowler hat) .
Mr Higson died in 1898, so the pic was taken before then.
