In the Ince Directory for 1925/6 Thomas Nevin is given as the Postmaster at 409 Warrington Road, Spring View. St Mary's Register has Margaret Woosey being married from there in 1964 - her father being Peter Woosey. Presumably Jane Nevin took over from Thomas, and ran it for a few years before the Woosey's took over.
Sam Bickerstaffe ran a Boot & Show repair shop at 360 Warrington Road in 1925/6.
