This Locomotive is 46209 " Princess Beatrice ", one of 12 in the
Princess Royal class of London,Midland,& Scottish Railways from
the 1930s.

I'd say it was east of North West Station and in Ince.

Yes John, it's also pulling rolling stock in reverse, but looking at both driver and fireman could be at that moment stationary.

looks like its coupled to another loco by the length of the protruding buffers ,that and the fact its showing joined vacuum piping
