Sadly, all of these characters are now deceased, with the possible, but unlikely exception of the unnamed gent.
i think the unnamed gent maybe mr murphy from downall green. he,s sadly gone too.
You're probably right there whups, I don't remember his first name, but he certainly came from Downall Green,.....from whereabouts exactly, I don't know, but I remember he sold me a trailer for a fiver one time. I towed it behind the ' Moggie ' in the previous photo.

Again, I think you're right whups. Bill Murphy, that sounds about right. I never got to know him that well unfortunately, although I found him to be a decent sort. The other lads I knew better. There'll still be someone in Downall Green who knows for sure. Possibly one of Big John Marsh's lads, or one of Cliff Simm's. I'll need to make a few enquiries.
