These splendid locomotives were being slowly withdrawn from service when I began spotting. Wonderful engines that made you stop everything when they came into view...

Rebuilt following it's involvement in the Harrow rail disaster of 1952.
It was great to be on the station when one of these came flying through. Superb engines.
