Circa 1986. Looking north from the rear of The Millstone, Swinley labour club at the top of Coppull lane is visible directly ahead. The pile of rubble next to the excavator on the left could quite well be the remains of the Saracen's Head, although I'm not entirely certain. The ice on the pool of water would indicate that the photograph was taken on a sunny day in winter.
