Bridge to Central Station.

Does anyone know what it is, and whether it is still in situate, or not. Is it a tower, or the chimney, behind the wisp of smoke?

great picture, not seen one from this angle before, think the tower is the baths, Horse Shoe pub would be on the other side of bridge? Puzzled as to why the bridge appears to be double span, you can see the second span behind the row of shops. Any clues anyone?
The pic, Scholes / Millgate, three on from here, shows the same bridge from the other side (you can see the bridge over the Douglas in both pics). The abutment to the bridge, which looks as if it's a second iron span here, is in stone.
