HI Pam, great picture,Icant place the building, its not St.Nats infants, its not St.Nats primary ,and its not Moss Lane, the only person I recognise on the photo is Sammy Devenport who was a teacher at Moss Lane or St.Nats,he was heavily involded in all sporting activities, mostly football,Pam it would be of great interest if you would post the list of names,no dought there will be someone out there who will throw some light on the mystery location,There must be quite a few Platt Bridgers out there with old photos gathering dust in some dark corners, come on lets have em.

John I think the lads would have been on their annual camp,so the building could be somewhere in Blowick Southport. I recognise most of the lads, I just wonder how many survive ?

Hi John, Dorothy Walls is my mums cousin. Dorothy's mum, Ethel, used to have a fruit shop just before the bridge going into Abram. Her and Jimmy had another brother called Derek.

Could the building be the Mission near the Vicarage? We used to meet there for Brownies back in the fifties, or as you say it is in Southport

Well if it is Blowick thats that explained,Ive never heard of Blowick, it sounds like something out of Harry Potter to me.

Thank you, that is my cousin Jack Morris. Sadly now passed away, he was one of the 2 members of our Platt Bridge family who kept in touch. oddly, his Mum & mine both married into a Morris family no relations.
