This photo was taken outside our old house at 12 Manley Street, Lower Ince, showing my dad George Wall pretending to book his son Dennis.
My dad always wanted to join the police force but he was about half an inch too short, so he became a Special Constable (unpaid) instead, whilst keeping his job at Heinz, Kitt Green. Here he is about to go on duty, with a quick booking beforehand!
