Yes it is Th'hen Hole. I lived in Delph St for many years and this pub was our local, it was always packed at one time but sadly it's demise is like many pubs today boarded up.

Spent many a good night in there in the mid 80's!

The best pub in the Springfield area for years.

there is scaffolding all round it at the moment,dont know whats being done to it

Its more than likely gonna end up like 'The Seven Stars' pub and be knocked down, such a shame that all these lovely buildings with so much character are having to go

good pub in 80s early 90s,i loved a pint in there i can see my house in background, its actually being refurbished now to open as a public house again hopefully in june,good luck to them pub trade is a very hard game these days.

We'd a great Darts & Dominoes club there in the late 60's early 70's. Hard to believe that it's 40 years ago; seems like yesterday.

I remember Brenda running it and then Alan and Dot. It was always a great place. The vault was a mix of old and young. Great darts and doms on a Monday night. Plus the best pint by miles.

Yes, it is Th'hen Hole but has had a facelift and rebuild! Everybody Welcome including families. We now serve food at weekends, have a big screen TV and a great team waiting to serve you!-From the new owners, Denise and David
