this is one of the original tokens used by drivers to gain access from springs branch to bickershaw collery which is now longer there all the tracks have all but gone.

Seriously,I think you might be right about that token being stolen Micky,i vaguely remember in the early 1990s the NSKT token machine at platt bridge being smashed up by persons unknown to remove the token.
The cast iron front was smashed & broken & the token was removed without it going through the machine.
