Sorry John, I only rotated the pic, which was posted earlier, to make for easier viewing. I'd hazard a guess that it was taken in the early 1950s though.

Person on the left with flat cap on is Jackie Thomas lived in Holt St, person in front cigarette in hand is Gerry Greenall also lived in holt st,

the man in the middle with trilby is horace atherton who later lived in snowden ave.

I was born in Thompson street the man in the flat cap is my dads brother my uncle jackie thomas my dad died when i was four years old and i moved from worsley mesnes but i remember eric rennox and know joe very well fond memories living there as a child all my dads sisters and brothers lived there and i visited them regularly in fact my dads brother Bill Thomas was steward off Worsley Mesnes for many years.

think front left, is dick scott who lived in thompson st. and had a large family.alan and peter are to i remember.
