Forgot to mention... The blue building to the left is Gullicks and the church in the distant background is St Nathaniels, Platt Bridge. The street being built is now Fernhurst Close.

i remember as a kid there was a lorry scrapyard back in the 80s had some good laughs when that was there, then was it flooded for sometime

The truck scrap yard was owned by Roland Bradley.
