But you could never beat me.
probably because u never played pat .
more practice needed around 19 3 and 17 if the wall is anything to go by
Correct
i,d like to say it was me that put em there , but the truth is that my old chap used to use the board & he was,nt quite as good as me .
Lower the board three inches for yer dad then he will be on target every time !!
i would like to tommy , but he passed away 16yrs ago .
How yer doin Brian,I mentioned you on Wigan world messageboard a few weeks ago, somebody was asking who was the best darter in Wigan, it's still on there.
Must be a common thing Brian if you play darts you lose your hair, hope you are keeping well
hi ste , doin ok , take a look at the sports page on here & scroll down to wigan observer darts comp & click on it & let me know .
hi brian , yep i think your right . it seems that way , probably because of all the pressure we put ourselves under tryin to win things . anyway are you ok , things ok where you are .
ste , do u ever see alan parky or their gary . just wonderin how there doin . if u see them tell em iv,e been askin about em .
Hi Brian things are ok over here,i was home in Sept was going to look you up but spent most my time with with Ken Sudworth and never got chance to look anyone up.
i think ken sudworth died recently , or am i wrong brian.
Just looked at them photo's Bri, nice tash! I was with Alan and Gary Parkie back in March when their old chap Cyril passed away.I'll probably see Gary round Christmas time, I'll tell him you were asking.
thanx ste , see u next time we have a march at golborne.iv,e put my e-mail addy on if anyone wants to make contact .
Hi Brian yes Ken died the day before i came back to NZ,at least i got to spend a couple of weeks with him catching up.
His girls are going to send me hid darts when they come across them
Brian, I worked with your dad at Parkside after he came from Landgate with Trevor Jones and Colin Perks. I used to pick him up in the car along with Alf Rigby and Albert Johnson
fred , i dont think my dad worked at parkside but i could be wrong .he worked half his life in day-hey pits after he worked at landgate . but ther are quite a few tommy scullys in this area.
I think that I am mixing your dad up with Pat Scully another brother, I remember all the Scully's. There was Frank, John, Pat, Tom, and Maggie. Most of them worked at Stones at some time. Maggie was on the pit brow, John was a surface hand and Frank and Tom worked underground.I thnk that later on, Frank went into the hospital as a porter. Frank's wife was in Billinge Hospital at the same time as my wife, giving birth to a son. I think his name was David
correct fred . your on the right family . after working in the pit my uncle pat went working at billinge as a porter just like my uncle frank who was at wigan infry.
Good old days eh bri, i can remember you looking so young when you was in your pomp.
yep dav, and not a bad player to boot eh.
