This is a painting done by RAY McLAREN an ex Hindleyite? now living in Australia. Shows a bonfire in the "Backs" behind a row of, now long demolished, terraced houses.

Just spoken to the artist, he said his sister has claimed a couple of the paintings but he is intending to have prints made of them. So Watch This Space. When he has the prints he is going to contact me and in turn I'll post something on the site.
